Dorian Cone Prediction 2am August 31st 2019

Dorian’s Predicted Cone as of August 31st at 2am

  • 510mi East of West Palm Beach, FL

  • 140 mph sustained winds

  • Moving WNW at 10mph

  • Nearly all of Florida currently resides within the cone of uncertainty

  • Suspected to make landfall sometime Tuesday

  • Storm is slow-moving, meaning lots of rain and prolonged exposure to hurricane-force winds

  • Voluntary evacuations begin in inland counties, including Glades county. 

  • Gas stations in Fort Meyers begin to run out of gas
